Larry Kings Divorce put on hold
Divorce proceedings between the 76-year-old talk-show host and wife Shawn Southwick have been suspended for the time being, King's attorney, Dennis Wasser, has confirmed
"Larry and Shawn met with a counselor," Wasser said. "It was decided that there will be no divorce activity for two weeks, as several issues need to be discussed and resolved."
So does this mean that King and his seventh bride (though he's swapped vows eight times, twice with the same woman) might make it after all?
"I'm going to let everything stand the way it is," Wasser said when asked if he was close to withdrawing King's divorce petition.
King and then, moments later, Southwick filed dueling petitions last week after 12 1/2 years of marriage. King asked for joint custody of their 9- and 11-year-old sons, while Southwick wanted primary physical custody.
But though they were divided on the issue of custody, the boys brought the couple together this weekend. The proud parents were spotted walking arm-in-arm Sunday at one of their boy's Little League game.
James Bond film halted
Former x-ter(James Bond)
Producers say work on the next James Bond film has been halted indefinitely because of uncertainty about the future of distributor Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.
Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli say development of the movie was suspended after MGM failed to find a buyer. They said late Monday they did not know when work would resume.
MGM put itself up for sale after a slump in DVD sales and a lack of hits left it unable to manage a $3.7 billion debt.
Wilson and Broccoli's EON Productions has produced 22 Bond thrillers since 1962. The new film, known only as "Bond 23," had been due for release in 2011 or 2012.
Bond actor Daniel Craig says he has confidence in the producers and looks forward to production resuming.

Guru became famous after teaming up with DJ Premier in group Gang Starr. The duo released six studio albums between 1989 and 2003 and became famous for making “conscious rap” before splitting under acrimonious circumstances.
