MCSK now part of the Hiphop/Genge beef.
Abbas ,Chiwawa and Attitude and Crooked Qs
If you thought the hiphop artistes only had beef with some genres well Music Copyright Society of Kenya has also been included in the ongoing hiphop controversy on claims that it is sidelining hiphop. These allegations were made by Bamboo’s kid brother Kimya who is also an artiste at the Mista Abbas album launch after party held at the Crooked Qs roof top. This comes after the long time beef between Abbas and self proclaimed king of Genge, Jua Cali. Leading hiphop artistes in the house included Abbas Kubaff, Kimya, Ukoo Flani and Chiwawa who later came in with former K-South rapper Attitude who is now based in Atlanta.
“Genge is dead and that’s why you cannot find any of those beats in our party” Said Kimya mockingly and went ahead to request those in attendance to take a “moment of silence in respect for the death of Kapuka”.
